Voldemort or Lord Voldemort (real name: Thomas Riddles) is the main antagonist in A Very Potter Musical. He is played by Joe Walker. For a while he was living on the back of Quirrell's head. He later created a new body for himself when Snape made a potion from a bone, his own hand, and Harry's blood. As soon as he came out of the potion he was wearing black pants and a fabulous sparkly cape that he never changes out of. He likes Zac Efron, snakes, folding his ties, roller skating, dancing, watching movies, and pushing people into fires.

Voldemort spends the first part of A Very Potter Musical attached to the back of Professor Quirrell's head. Voldemort soon begins to experience feelings he has never felt before while he is attached to Quirrell's head. He is one of Starkids' LGBTQ+ characters.

Voldemort eventually regains his body once he transports Harry to the graveyard via a hidden portkey (the punch ladle). Before Voldemort can finish him off, Harry finds the portkey and returns to Hogwarts. Voldemort gains complete control over Hogwarts after killing Cornelius Fudge and arranging Albus Dumbledore's "death". Once more, Voldemort fails to defeat Harry when he presents him with an ultimatum; he must either sacrifice himself or Voldemort and his Death Eaters will kill anyone who attempts to defend Harry. This would've resulted in Voldemort's own demise, but he manages to survive (unbeknownst to Harry and the other Hogwarts students).

After his "death", he showed regret for his evil deeds and redeemed himself. He then reunited with Quirrell and confessed his love for him.

In A Very Potter Senior Year, while the real Voldemort was spending time with Quirrell, his old diary (which he refers to as a journal out of embarrassment) contains the last remaining piece of his soul. His soul, containing his memories and past goal of wanting to return, possesses Ginny, causing her to bring the Basilisk out to attack students at Hogwarts. It is revealed throughout the show that, in his past, he used to be a Hogwarts students named Thomas Riddle, who had an awful and emotionally abusive childhood, which resulted in him finally snapping and killing his uncaring father and grandparents after receiving a bar of Snickers for Christmas (he hates Snickers). In the Chamber, Voldemort's soul attempts to kill Harry again, and believing that if he kills Ginny he can be brought back with the Resurrection Stone. But this failed as Harry stabbed the Diary with the Sword of Gryffindor, and killed the Basilisk with the sword also. At the end of the show, 19 years after the events of AVPSY, the real Voldemort is shown. He has long given up his evil ways and it is revealed that he and Quirrell are happily married and adopted a child (who became a student at Hogwarts). He also no longer holds any ill will towards Harry Potter anymore as he taught him how to love and gave him a new family.
