Nick Gage (born December 10, 1979) is an American actor, singer, composer, writer, producer and performer based in Chicago. He is best known for his work with American musical theatre company Team StarKid.

Early Life and Education[]

Nick attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated in 2003.

Work[]

Nick has acted in a number of different projects. He featured as Edison in the short film The Denim Warrior alongside appearing as Glenn Miller in the podcast series Hello from the Magic Tavern. Alongside this, he also served as the music director and composer for The Moms: Fannypackin' Heat by Julia Albain and Lauren Lopez.

Nick has worked as a music director for The Second City in Chicago since 2014. He has worked with them onboard cruise ships and across the country with The Second Touring Company. He also took over the theater's 107th revue Algorithm Nation or The Static Quo as a longterm understudy. He also music directed the 2018 summer run of The Second City's Generation Gap at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.[1].

Nick has also worked alongside the Tin Can Brothers on a number of projects. He served as composer for both The Solve It Squad and it's sequel How the Grunch Cribbed Christmas. He also provided the theme song for both The Solve It Squad: Back in Biz and We Didn't Plan to Kill Our Guest.

He has also released and performed music as both Nick Gage and Mellow Chihuahua.

StarKid Productions[]

Nick made his StarKid debut as the composer for Holy Musical B@man!. He then went on to feature as the musical director and writer of both Airport for Birds and 1Night 2Last 3EVER. Nick also appeared as a cast-member in 1Night 2Last 3EVER. He then went on to appear in the band for Firebringer where he played the guitar and bass.

Nick featured in a number of shows in the 2016 StarKid summer season. He wrote and performed in his one-man show Ready 2 Die 2Nite as well as appearing in both Square Dance N' Hootenanny (Yee haw!) and Sex a.k.a. Wieners and Boobs.

Nick made his on-stage musical debut as The Djinn, The Sultan and Scar in Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizier. This marks his only on-stage role to date. He returned to the group for StarKid Homecoming where he featured in the Twisted Medley, Holy Musical B@man! Medley and the Ani Medley.

Personal Life[]

Nick currently resides in the Greater Chicago Area.
