Monkey is a character portrayed by Lauren Lopez in the musical Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizier, produced by Team Starkid. Monkey is based on Aladdin's monkey, Abu, from the original Disney movie 'Aladdin'.
This character is known to have very interesting conversations with the Sultan. He looks shockingly similar to the deceased Abdul, who tragically choked on shit while chasing the villainous thief, Aladdin, to retrieve a stolen loaf of bread. Monkey believes strongly in killing people who put raisins in bread. After being abandoned by Aladdin, Monkey stops his thieving ways and befriends the Princess (after becoming a princess himself).
