Christopher "Chris" Sandberg (also known as Chris Allen) is an American actor, writer, director, producer and performer best known for his viral TikTok presence and his work with American musical theatre company Team StarKid.

Early Life and Education[]

Chris attended the University of Michigan where he graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre performance.

Work[]

From January 2008, Chris served as Assistant Director for the Novi Creatives Art Collaborative. He remained in this role until May 2013. After this, Chris headlined his one man show Defending the Caveman on the Las Vegas strip until May 2014. He then served as Digital Media Manager for YO.TV, Inc until November 2017.[1]

Chris now works as a freelance director, writer and producer. In 2018 he wrote, directed and appeared in his short film Last Ride to Liberty High. He has also appeared in a number of roles such as featuring as a Junkyard Worker in Chicago P.D., Richard Dawson in Bikini Hackers, Delivery Driver in Baby Cat, Agent Stone in Unit 262, Lawyer in Pantomimes and Officer Turner in North of the 210.[2]

Chris has also had a viral tiktok series where he worked out everyday until Taco Bell brings back his favorite meal: grilled stuft nachos. Over the course of the series Chris lost nearly 100 pounds and was interviewed and reported on by a number of media outlets.[3]

StarKid Productions[]

Chris met the members of StarKid while studying at the University of Michigan. In 2007, he starred as Duder Reese in the pre-StarKid web series Little White Lie.

Following the success of A Very Potter Musical, Chris served as Development Manager for StarKid where he aided in generating new content for their YouTube channel and leading story and creative development[4]. He remained in this role until StarKid's relocation to Los Angeles in 2018.

Chris made his on-stage StarKid debut in Holy Musical B@man! where he featured as Alfred, Two-face and Spider-Man. He then returned to StarKid in 2014 where he starred as Ani Skywalker in Ani: A Parody. He also featured in and wrote sketches for Airport for Birds.

Chris is currently based in Upland, California.
