Ali Gordon (born April 5) is an American actress, singer, improviser, author and performer based in New York. She is best known for her work with the American musical theatre company Team Starkid.

Early Life and Education[]

Ali attended the University of Michigan where she became involved with the student theater organization Basement Arts.

Work[]

Ali has featured in a number of TV series such as the World's Worst Musical where she featured as Cousin Dana as well as Flying High with Charlie where she featured as Diaper Lady. She has also featured in a number of commercials such as Best Buy's 2019 Holiday Commercial and CNNs New Year's Eve with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen Commercial.

Ali is also a member of the D&D podcast Second Best which has over 200 5-Star ratings on iTunes as well as having a sold out show at Theaterlab NYC. Ali also performs with the musical improv team Rumpleteaser at UCB Hell's Kitchen which has been performing as the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and headlining comedy festivals across the country since 2015.

Ali also served as the producer for The Writing on the Stall, directed by A.J. Holmes[1].

StarKid Productions[]

Ali met the members of StarKid while collaborating in UoM's student-run theatre organization Basement Arts. In 2009, Ali featured in Me and My Dick starring as Vanessa. She also featured on the cast album which became the first-ever student-produced college musical to reach Billboard, debuting at No. 11 on the Top Cast Albums chart.[2][3][4][5]

She later returned to the theatre company to feature in StarKid Homecoming. She then appeared as Turkey Boy among others in the digital production of A VHS Christmas Carol and digitally reprised the role in the live production. Ali then joined The StarKid Jangle Ball Holiday Tour for the New York, Chicago, Ann Arbor, Los Angeles and San Francisco tour dates. Ali also appeared in VHS Christmas Carols as Match Girl.

Personal Life[]

Ali currently resides in New York with her husband Marty.
