A Very Potter Musical Act 1 Part 1

The entirety of Part 1 is the song "Gotta Get Back to Hogwarts", in which Harry laments at his unhappiness about his miserable life with the Dursleys, and wishes he could go back to Hogwarts. Suddenly, his best friend Ron Weasley arrives and they use Floo Powder to escape to Diagon Alley, where they meet Harry's other friend, Hermione Granger, who reprimands them for not wanting to focus on their studies. They come across a number of other characters, including Ginny Weasley, Ron's younger sister, Lavender Brown, Cho Chang, Harry's crush; Cedric Diggory, Cho's boyfriend; Draco Malfoy, Harry's arch-nemesis; and Crabbe and Goyle, Draco's two cronies. The students all head to Platform 9 3/4, and travel to Hogwarts, where they are welcomed by their headmaster, Albus Dumbledore. The song concludes with the entire group singing "Hogwarts! Hogwarts!", and Harry saying, "Man, I'm glad I'm back."
